Daniel Libeskind

under the skin / pod kůži

Literally under the titanium-zinc skin of selected European buildings by Daniel Libeskind, a lecture by Martin Link, the director of technical consulting at RHEINZINK ČR s.r.o., which closely collaborates with the Studio of Daniel Libeskind, will help us gain insight. The lecture will outline the working process – from general concept to technical detail – and the story behind the creation of Libeskind's buildings. The lecture is part of the ongoing exhibition "Daniel Libeskind" at the Architecture Cabinet of the Ostrava House of Art (GVUO). On 100 panels supplemented by 15 spots and a 55-minute film, visitors will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with twenty projects from the Studio of Daniel Libeskind based in New York. You are warmly invited to the lecture, which will take place on November 10 and 11, 2010, always at 5:00 PM, in the multifunctional hall of the House of Art at Jurečkova Street No. 9 in Moravská Ostrava, by the organizers: GVUO, SPOK, and RHEINZINK ČR s.r.o.

Due to the modest capacity of the lecture space, we recommend confirming your attendance by making a reservation at this email address: [email protected]
