On Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at 7:00 PM, a lecture by Jacob Kurek from the Copenhagen studio Henning Larsen Architects will take place at CAMP in Prague, which is one of the most prestigious in its field. For the concert hall Harpa in Reykjavik, Iceland, it won the Mies van der Rohe Award in 2013, and two years later, it designed a new town hall for the Swedish town of Kiruna, which will be moved three kilometers east due to mining. Recently, the award-winning residential building The Wave in the coastal town of Vejle, which was completed at the end of last year, cannot be overlooked. Jacob Kurek, head of international projects, will come to Prague to talk about the Scandinavian experience with community planning and architecture, specifically how to best involve the public in the process. The lecture will be in English, with translation into Czech provided. The lecture is organized in cooperation with ARCHIP.
