Desky Fermacell Powerpanel H2O now also with the popular profiled TB edge

Fermacell Powerpanel H2O boards are ideal for use in areas where the walls are subjected to constant water exposure. In these demanding conditions, they provide an ideal waterproof substrate for tiles, natural stone, or other coverings. Fermacell now offers a profiled edge (TB edge) with sealing option for the Powerpanel H2O boards, in addition to the glued joint. This means that even for proven lightweight concrete construction boards, a jointing system tailored specifically to the needs of traditional dry construction is available.

Among the advantages of the boards with a profiled edge are easy handling, as the majority of fastening means are sealed in one working step during joint sealing. The boards are slightly beveled at the edge and equipped with an additional chamfer. The execution of joints with fermacell TB boards is very simple – always two TB-edged boards are joined flush. Fastening is performed without tension using standard fastening means and at usual spacing. The fermacell TB reinforcing tape is inserted into the joint, which is glued over the joint before jointing. Subsequently, the joint is sealed with fine Powerpanel sealant.
