“Roof spaces in heritage zones can be spacious and airy; you are among romantic rooftops. The regulations allow small roof windows measuring 60 × 60 cm. That sounds quite strict, but my experience has been good in the end – a wonderful space can be created,” says Jakub Formánek, who has been dedicated to the topic in his role as a manufacturer of roof windows for a long time.

“In our artisanal production, we are fine-tuning the KLASIK Dva roof windows, which, while adhering to all heritage rules and technical nuances, will offer the most benefits for apartment users, that is, the largest glazed areas, views, and daylight. We need very slim window profiles and glazing, as well as insulated and very sturdy ones; we are looking for every millimeter of savings. We work with triple glazing, thermally reflective layers, and multiple seals. Check out the photos from our realizations; I really like such roof rooms, and I am genuinely satisfied with the results,” adds Jakub Formánek from the manufacturer Solara.
