For the first time in the history of the Archiweb Award, we have decided to honor an architectural studio. In previous years, the laureates emphasized the contributions of their collaborators, and many of their designs were created with the help of co-authors. However, the team leader was always evident. This year, it is not possible to award the prize to an individual, as HŠH architekti have represented a cohesive group since their inception. The trio of Hradečný-Šépka-Hájek creates an architectural force that could highlight the Czech architectural scene abroad. The editorial team of Archiweb is fascinated by the work of HŠH so far; we admire the concept and solutions presented in the exhibition 'Space House.' The competition designs by HŠH, even if they do not win directly, are thought-provoking regarding the subject of the competition and relate to broader themes in contemporary architecture. Last but not least, we appreciate the enormous engagement of the studio's members in the Czech Chamber of Architects and at the Faculty of Architecture at the Czech Technical University. The Archiweb Award for 2007 is awarded by the editorial team of Archiweb to the "team of good guys" - Tomáš Hradečný, Jan Šépka, and Petr Hájek. Congratulations!
