Presentation of the finalists and decoration of the winners of the 22nd edition of the Club For Old Prague Award for new buildings in a historical environment is here. This time, it will take place on June 1, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the café Na Boršově. The establishment of the Award was brought about by the local council's dissatisfaction with the quality of new buildings in the historic center of Prague during the decades following the November Revolution. We shared back then, and we still share the view that if a new building is to appear in a protected heritage area, it cannot come at the expense of existing values of the heritage reserve. The new building must not harm its environment; on the contrary, it must enrich it.
