The international final of the 9th edition of the architectural competition Superstudio will feature presentations and critiques of projects from the best student teams that advanced from the first round held simultaneously in Prague, Bratislava, Liberec, Brno, and Ostrava! The final evening will be opened by a lecture from the award-winning architectural studio fala atelier, which will be visiting Prague for the very first time. The duo of authors for this year's assignment will also sit on the final jury. The theme of Superstudio has, for the first time in the history of the competition, addressed the very form of architecture. University student teams playfully engaged with architectural languages in relation to the significant 20th-century architect Jože Plečnik. They will present their projects during brief presentations in front of the expert jury and the audience. A critical discussion with the jurors immediately follows each presentation.

About Superstudio Superstudio is a conceptual competition for university students focused on architecture and urbanism. The character of the competition is primarily defined by a strict time limit – competing teams have exactly and only 24 hours to develop their assignment. Superstudio encourages critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the ability to immediately defend one's own opinions.
The first round takes place simultaneously in all cities with architecture education in the Czech Republic and Slovakia: in Prague, Bratislava, Ostrava, Liberec, Brno, and Košice. An expert jury selects the best teams from all cities, which advance to the international final. The winning teams will receive a glass trophy from Superstudio crafted by Lasvit, prize money of 50,000 CZK, and additional awards.
