The Glass Palace is one of the most valuable functionalist buildings in Prague. It features a striking glass facade complemented by ceramic cladding and technical elements that were extraordinarily progressive for its time. Daylight is brought into the garages by glass block ceilings. The apartments originally featured modern amenities – central heating, floor or wall heating in the bathrooms, and built-in storage elements.
