Mladá Boleslav will build a parking garage near the city stadium for 120 million CZK

Mladá Boleslav – Mladá Boleslav will build a parking garage near the municipal stadium for more than 300 cars. The public procurement assignment was approved by the city council. The costs are 120 million crowns, of which 100 million will be covered by a grant from European Union funds, Pavel Šubrt from the Mladá Boleslav city hall stated today on the city's website.

"We will build the parking garage in the place of the existing parking lot between the sports hall and the entrance to the municipal stadium. Construction should begin this spring and last for nine months," said Mayor Raduan Nwelati (ODS).

The new parking garage will operate in a P+R mode and is expected to solve the shortage of parking spaces in this area. Inside, there will be 308 spaces for cars, of which ten will be reserved for the disabled. Ten spaces will also be created for motorcycles.

There will be a bike-sharing stand near the parking garage. Due to the location of the facility almost in the city center, the majority of destinations will be accessible with subsequent use of cycling transportation, according to the city hall.
