Prostřední Bečva - The restored Libušín will open today at Pustevny in the Beskydy Mountains. The chalet, built in 1899 according to the design of architect Dušan Jurkovič, burned down in March 2014. The Wallachian Open-Air Museum then decided to restore it through scientific reconstruction, using traditional methods and procedures. Libušín has been a national cultural monument since 1995 and served as a dining room.

Libušín will be blessed at noon today by the Archbishop of Olomouc, Jan Graubner, and will open to the public at 14:00. People will be able to view the newly built Libušín; the museum has prepared guided tours of the building, which will be available for at least a month. A trial operation of the restaurant could start in September, and it should be fully operational by the beginning of October at the latest.

The total cost of the restoration of Libušín was 117.5 million crowns. The construction of the new building began in the summer of 2017, and Libušín, after reconstruction, has returned to its form from 1925, when all its parts were completed. Its coloration and some parts are therefore different from those before the fire.
