Rakovník is commissioning a project for the establishment of a community center

Rakovník - Rakovník is undertaking a project to create a multipurpose study and community center. It is to be established after the renovation and repair of the buildings on Husova Square. The local councilors decided on the commissioning of documentation preparation for over one million crowns. This was reported today by the spokesperson of the town hall, Jiří Cafourek.

The center is to be located on the square, where the buildings numbered 167 and 168 currently stand. "The task is to complete the preparation of documentation during this year," stated the spokesperson. The estimated costs will only be known after the project is completed, and it will amount to at least tens of millions of crowns.

The city leadership aims to announce a tender for the work contractor next year. The start date of this will depend on the completion of the reconstruction of the municipal swimming pool, which is the largest investment of the city in recent years.

According to the study, the center should include a library, study room, lecture hall, exhibition spaces, and a multipurpose studio, among others.
