The statutory city of Děčín announced a competition for a design

The statutory city of Děčín announced a public competition for the design of the restoration of the historical part of Podmokly on March 5, 2013.
The goal of the competition is to find a new appearance of significant public spaces in the city center that better combines, than is the case today, the character of historical buildings with current cultural, social, and commercial activities and to create an appropriate place for

The competition is announced in the Public Procurement Journal http://www.vestnikverejnychzakazek.cz/ (formerly the Information System for the Publication of Public Procurement www.isvzus.cz), in the national daily press, on the website of the Czech Chamber of Architects (http://www.cka.cc), on the website of the contracting authority, the statutory city of Děčín, and on the website www.archiweb.cz.

Written inquiries may be submitted no later than by March 18, 2013, at 4:00 PM. The last opportunity for questions will be at a meeting with the jury on March 19, 2013, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. The venue for the meeting will be specified by the competition organizer in due time.
Competition proposals must be submitted by applicants in person or by courier against a written confirmation to the secretary of the competition, Ing. Věra Havlová, on any working day of the week between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM and on the last day of the deadline - May 14, 2013, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the address: City Hall of Děčín - Development Department, Mírové náměstí 1175/5, 405 38 Děčín IV-Podmokly.
The session of the competition jury to evaluate the competition proposals will take place on May 20 - 21, 2013.
