Dear friends, next Tuesday, July 21 at 19:00, we will have another part of SNG Live, this time on the topic How is the gallery reconstructed?
The architectural studio of Martin Kusý and Pavol Paňák can calmly be called the Slovak national architectural studio, or the studio of patience, after decades of work. For decades, they have worked on projects for large national institutions such as the National Bank and the National Theatre, and since 2005, also on the reconstruction of the SNG premises.
Again “national” and it takes at least 10 years longer than we would like. What will the new SNG look like? Why wasn’t that "monstrosity" demolished? How does the project change during the 15-year process? All this and much more will be asked of architects Martin Kusý and Pavol Paňák by SNG graphic designer Pavlína Morháčová.
Watch on our Facebook and YouTube. You can ask questions on the current topic a week before and during each broadcast via the Slido app, which you can download for free, using #sngnazive. A recording of the discussion will be saved on the SNG YouTube channel.
