We cordially invite you to three events hosted by the Antikvariát and club Fiducia as part of the Archikultura festival.
April 17 at 18:00 Mobile Feast Presentation of young architects SUPERSTUDIO Presentation of the results of this year's conceptual architectural and urban competition SUPERSTUDIO, which is intended for architecture students regardless of year and school. Each team is tasked with processing the assignment in the form of an author's report and a PowerPoint presentation with a maximum length of 10 slides within a time limit of 200 seconds. The evening will be hosted by architect Radim Václavík. April 22 at 18:00 Opening of the exhibition Jolana Havelková and Michal Škoda / OUT OF PLAN The exhibition Out of Plan by Jolana Havelková and Michal Škoda is part of the Archikultura Ostrava festival. Both authors address the issues of perception and representation of space in their work. Jolana Havelková’s photographic series studies objects from various angles, transforming the shapes and proportions of buildings. The deep perspective of looking from below is reduced to basic shapes, and some buildings are no longer entirely recognizable, resembling more of a construction set. Michal Škoda, for whom architecture has been a central theme for a long time, maps his perception of the surrounding space in his diary notes titled Records, in everyday life, but also on his travels. In addition to photographs, he works with drawings, texts, and newspaper clippings. The curator of the exhibition is Helena Musilová. The exhibition at the Fiducia gallery will run from April 22, 2013, to May 25, 2013.
