Circle in 2010 presents the work and successes of Czech architects operating abroad. The autumn series of lecture evenings will be opened with presentations by Jiří Oplatek and Ivan Koleček, Czech architects living in Switzerland since the 1960s. Untraditionally, on the third Thursday in October, there will be a lecture and a walk with the authors of the department store Máj (My). In addition to Miroslav Masák and Martin Rajniš, architect John Eisler, who worked in the USA with Richard Meier since 1983, and now leads his own office in New York and Prague, participated in the Máj project. The autumn in the Circle will conclude with the December lecture by architect Zdeňka Zavřela, the current dean of the FA ČVUT. Zavřel has worked in the Netherlands since the 1970s, where he closely collaborated with architect Jacob Bakema, and also led his own studio there.
