On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 6:00 PM, a lecture by prof. Petra Hájka on the topic of The Conductor of Architecture will take place at the Atelier of Karel Hubáček at the Technical University of Liberec, focusing on the intersection of architecture and music.

prof. Ing. Mgr. Akad. arch. Petr Hájek is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague and the School of Architecture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. In 1998, he co-founded the architectural office HŠH architects with Tomáš Hradečný and Jan Šépka, and in 2009, he established his own architectural office, Petr Hájek ARCHITEKTI, s.r.o. Since 2004, he has been involved as a lecturer at the FA CTU, where he was appointed associate professor (2010) and professor (2017). He is the founder and chairman of the board of the Art-Now foundation to support art and talent and the founder of the Laboratory of Experimental Architecture (LEA). For his research project Anastomosis, he received the 2012 Rector's Award of the Czech Technical University III. degree for the application of research in practice. The writer Miloš Urban was inspired by him to write the novel Urbo Kune (2015), which takes place in a utopian city designed by the students of his atelier at FA CTU.
