Guy Mouton

Lecture by the Belgian structural engineer who participated in the construction of many iconic buildings in Belgium, such as the Port House by Zaha Hadid architects, De Krook in Ghent, or the Zwin Nature Reserve project in Knokke-Heist.

THE LECTURE WILL TAKE PLACE: May 15, 2019, 5:00 PM, BUILDING G, ROOM 312, TUL

Guy Mouton is the founder of the Mouton design office. He is engaged in the design of structures and the processing of construction projects with an emphasis on architectural projects.
The philosophy of this design office is that construction should be understood as part of architecture, and just like architecture, it must have its own design. In addition, structure is often an inseparable part of architecture and plays a key role in the perception of the entire design. Our goal is to develop a strong structural concept for each project individually while also contributing to the final appearance of the design.
