The Austrian furniture company Wiesner-Hager transformed the old offices of a five-story building into modern spaces that meet the needs of employees.
For the reconstruction of the offices in Prague's Anděl district, Wiesner-Hager collaborated with the Archicraft studio. During the nearly year-long work, Wiesner-Hager provided not only the furniture but also the complete implementation, including air conditioning, electrification, and flooring. In the finished area of 2,700 m², approximately 1,900 pieces of furniture were placed, complemented by a large number of carpets and other soft surfaces to ensure good soundproofing of individual workstations.
One of the priorities of the office reconstruction was addressing acoustics. Given the high occupancy, the spaces required maximum sound insulation so that employees could work in peace. Another interesting aspect of the project is the fact that all work took place during operation, thus gradually and in precisely sequential steps.
Despite the project's complexity and the necessity of unusual technical solutions, Wiesner-Hager managed to create modern spaces that emphasize the focus and values of L'Oréal - care for women's beauty.
