The Bohuslav Fuchs Award is a traditional competition that evaluates student works of students from the Faculty of Architecture at the Brno University of Technology and is awarded once a semester. The festive announcement of the current XVIII. Bohuslav Fuchs Award will take place on January 14, 2020, at 6:00 PM in the drawing room of the Faculty of Architecture. You are cordially invited! As is customary, an afterparty will follow the announcement at the student club Archa. The Bohuslav Fuchs Award not only recognizes talented students but also creates an impartial perspective on the faculty from the outside. An independent jury composed of personalities from Czech architecture and winners of the previous year selects 3 winning projects, 4-7 awarded projects, the best studio, and the best ZAN. The jury traditionally consists of 3 independent judges - recognized figures from the architectural scene and 3 students - winners of the previous year.
The following individuals have confirmed their attendance: Mgr. art. Danica Pišteková, ArtD., co-founder and member of the WOVEN platform, which deals with temporary installations and educational events for students.
