XVI. Bohuslav Fuchs Award - Invitation to the Announcement

We cordially invite you to the ceremonial announcement of the XVI. Bohuslav Fuchs Award, which will take place on January 8, 2019, at 5:00 PM in the large hall A311 at the Faculty of Architecture, VUT in Brno. A supplementary program before the ceremonial ceremony will be a presentation of studio topics and ZAN for the summer semester 2018/2019. The exact time of individual presentations will be specified. As is customary, there will be an afterparty in the student club Archa following the announcement.

The Bohuslav Fuchs Award is a traditional competition for student works at the FA VUT in Brno, awarded once a semester. Its purpose is not only to recognize talented students but also to create an impartial view of the faculty from the outside. An independent jury composed of personalities from Czech architecture and winners of the previous year awards 3 winning projects, 4-7 honored entries, and the best studio.

How to participate in the competition? Just display your work on the school premises by Monday, January 7, 2019, at 7:00 PM, and then SOFA will take care of everything. The winning and honored projects will be exhibited in a special exhibition in Prague, Brno, and Liberec.
