<XII. Bohuslav Fuchs Award - Invitation to the Announcement>

The period of grace is coming to an end. The Student Community of the Faculty of Architecture is organizing a Fox Hunt. The submission is not the end of anything! Show what you can do! Have you clicked enough? Finished model? Printed copy? Do you want your trophy? We're shooting with live ammo. Be ready on January 12, 2017. The hunt begins.
The traditional competition of student projects will arrive at the Brno Faculty of Architecture on January 12, 2017. Studio works displayed in the faculty's premises will be evaluated by a jury composed of renowned personalities and students - laureates of the previous round. Confirmed participants include Akad.arch. Ladislav Kuba, Mgr. Jana Pavlová, Dipl. Ing. Zdeněk Sendler. Students on the jury will be represented by Bc. Radomír Feňo, Petra Holíková, Bc. Jakub Slováček.
Winning works will be announced during the gala evening on January 12, 2017, at 6:00 PM in the auditorium of the Faculty of Architecture VUT, Poříčí 273/5, Brno. There will be a discussion about the projects, music, and free entertainment. We look forward to your participation.

Akad. arch. Ladislav Kuba - graduate of FA in Brno and AVU in Prague. In 1996, he co-founded the studio Kuba & Pilař architekti s.r.o. He is the author of several significant buildings, including the Omega department store in Brno, the fountain in náměstí Svobody, and the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University... In 2002 and 2009, they received the main Grand Prix award from the Architectural Society.
Mgr. Jana Pavlová - graduate of Umprum, curator, theorist, and historian of architecture. Author of a document about banking houses of the 90s, Temples of Money.
Dipl. Ing. Zdeněk Sendler - leading Czech landscape architect. Since 1990, he has operated the Atelier of Garden and Landscape Architecture in Brno. He engages in educational and publishing activities and is a member of the artistic and scientific council of FA ČVUT in Prague. Holder of several first places in the "Garden of the Year" competition. Nominated for Architect of the Year in 2016.
