The contrast of wood and concrete may seem bold at first glance. Massive beams, the natural grain of round timber, and a rustic atmosphere are traditionally associated with stone or ceramic tiles. Concrete overlay, however, enters such an environment in a different way – as a calm, neutral surface that allows the grain of the wood to stand out while also meeting the demands of contemporary living.
