Kladno - Kladno has completed two regulatory plans, which are awaiting public discussion. The plans complement the land-use plan approved last year, regulate construction, help preserve historical buildings, industrial monuments, and also allow for development, as they are clear to investors. This was stated by Kladno councilor Ondřej Rys (for the Choice for Kladno) today to ČTK.

"The purpose of the plans is to set clear rules for the area," Rys said. In total, the Kladno land-use plan will be supplemented by four regulatory plans. The remaining two are expected to be completed this year.

The Kladno councilors are set to approve the regulatory plan for the center in June, while the landowners will comment on it in March. They can view the proposal on the website www.mestokladno.cz. Following this will be the regulatory document for the area of the former Vojtěšská foundry. The other two plans for the Podprůhon district and the area around Štechova Street are being prepared, but the city is currently discussing the proposal with the residents.

"We always try to find a compromise solution between several interests," Rys added. According to him, this concerns public interest, which has many facets such as urbanism, architecture, the environment, transportation, and more, but also private interest, where owners have their own ideas about land use. However, according to the councilor, the regulations only marginally affect private owners.

Regulatory plans define, for example, maximum dimensions of planned buildings, their orientation, parking solutions, or environmental impacts.
