Žďár nad Sázavou

Žďár nad Sázavou - There is no interest in building row houses in Žďár nad Sázavou. The city offered a total of ten in the Klafar II housing estate. However, citizens are more interested in standalone family homes; of the total of 39 plots available for their construction, 28 have been sold. The council therefore decided to change the plan for the housing estate. "Instead of ten row houses, five larger parcels for standalone family houses will be created," said Deputy Mayor Dagmar Zvěřinová to ČTK.

The plots will be handed over to buyers next spring. This autumn, energy and communication networks will be built in the housing estate. The council selected their suppliers a month ago, and the appeal period is currently underway. The tender process successfully reduced the planned costs from 85 million to 59 million crowns. As a result, the city was able to reduce prices of the plots by about 200 crowns per square meter. The original price of the plots was 864 crowns. Those who build a house according to the approved rules within three years of the issuance of the building permit will receive back 214 crowns per square meter.
In the Klafar II housing estate, the technical networks will be sized for 7,000 residents. The city has invested nearly 31 million crowns in purchasing foreign plots in the area. In the first phase, alongside family homes, a building with 45 apartments will also be constructed.
