We cordially invite you to OFFCITY WORKSHOP 06. On Saturday, June 4th and Sunday, June 5th, 2011 at Divadlo 29 / Sv. Anežky České 29, Pardubice and in the public spaces of the city
The workshops held as part of the OFFCITY project help to uncover layers and levels of the city that are not noticeable at first glance. After last year's workshops focused on sound, light, dance, and animation in the streets of the city, you now have the opportunity to try so-called wool graffiti - one form of guerrilla street art. So who dares?! :-)
Street art is no longer just graffiti!
Forget about spray cans, the future is in wool.
Workshop of guerrilla knitting and crocheting, that is, wrapping and crocheting commonly unclothed objects – railings, trees, poles, bus stops, and sculptures.
Young and old, knitters, crocheters, and those who have never held needles in their hands and have never crocheted are all welcome. Wool graffiti is not just about that.
Your own needles, a ball of yarn, or old sweaters waiting to be transformed are welcome but not required.
And one more thing! Start looking around you now and choose places – objects suitable for wrapping.
