Jevíčko – The Pardubice Region continues with the repairs of the Specialized Treatment Institute in Jevíčko. The leadership of the regional government has announced a tender for the supplier of thermal insulation and energy-saving measures for the dining facility building. The estimated value of the construction according to the project documentation is 10.3 million crowns including tax, stated the spokesperson of the Pardubice Region, Dominik Barták, in a press release.

The region has invested nearly 100 million crowns in the treatment institute in Jevíčko in recent years. These funds were allocated for wooden relaxation areas, the conversion of the former children's pavilion into a pulmonary rehabilitation pavilion, insulation of Pavilion S, and repair of the roof of the dining pavilion. In August, modernization of the interior spaces of Pavilion S began, costing more than 60 million crowns including VAT. "With the planned insulation of the dining facility, we will thus reach a total amount exceeding 170 million crowns," stated Governor Martin Netolický.

The Jevíčko Institute is a contributory organization of the Pardubice Region and provides health services in the area of pneumological diseases, pneumological and movement rehabilitation, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis. The entire facility currently has nearly 180 beds for inpatient treatment. It also includes a number of specialized outpatient clinics and examination rooms.

Every investment project in the area must also take into account the historical character, as the Specialized Treatment Institute in Jevíčko is a listed monument. The buildings were constructed between 1913 and 1926. Just like in the case of other investments in the area, the region was also successful in drawing European funds this time, receiving a grant from the Operational Program Environment. The estimated costs according to the project documentation are estimated at 10.3 million crowns including tax, of which the grant is expected to cover over 22 percent.
