Pardubice - A large shopping center with additional services including a hotel is to be constructed by the developer at the former distillery in Pardubice starting in 2021. The next phase, which includes residential development, could begin in 2023. This is indicated by the environmental impact announcement EIA.

Last year, Redstone Real Estate demolished the original buildings and is preparing for future construction. The multifunctional building is planned to be completed in 2022, and apartments in three residential buildings by 2024.

The commercial complex is expected to feature shops, a restaurant, a multiplex cinema, a hotel with a restaurant, a community hall, offices, medical practices, and sports halls including a fitness center. The second phase plans to build three buildings with 198 apartments ranging from one to four rooms.

A cycling path should lead from the south and east. The shopping center is expected to have rooftop and underground parking for 500 cars. The hotel is to be located in the southwestern part of the site. Architects also propose a park in the study.

The former distillery was used by the city of Pardubice from 2014 until May 2019 as a temporary parking lot. The distillery had been in Pardubice since the late 19th century. It went bankrupt in 2003, and it was auctioned by the company Saler, which ceased production; its main activity became the rental of real estate.
