Eco rooms of the Hamburg Diaconal Clinic with minimal emissions thanks to fermacell greenline

Under the name "Ecological Room," one of the hospitals in Hamburg has equipped two hospital rooms with facilities to reduce the amount of harmful substances and harmonized them for the special needs of patients with MCS syndrome (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) and patients with civilization diseases. Only building materials that had been tested for their health safety were used. The walls were constructed using fermacell greenline boards, special fiberboards that absorb harmful substances and disturbing odors from the surrounding air and permanently bind them. The mechanism of effective substances was tested and approved as part of extensive series of tests, among others by an independent eco-institute in Cologne.
