The KWK PROMES office was founded in 1999 by Marlena Wolnik and Robert Konieczny. Among the main achievements of this Polish architectural studio are:
1993 first prize, competition - adaptation of the palace, Gozno
1994 award, competition - New Bauhaus, Weimar
1995 third prize, competition - new bridge, Verona
1996 award, competition - theater, Gliwice
1996 third prize, competition - Governors Island, New York
1998 award - best diploma project in Silesia
1999 Award for the best young architect of Silesia
2000 third prize, competition - Temple of Divine Wisdom, Warsaw
2001 Grand Prix Award - building of the year in Silesia - Triangle House
2002 nomination for Mies van der Rohe Award - Broken House
2003 Best Building of Katowice - Broken House
