The civic association Za Opavu received a total of 16 proposals for the awarding of the Opava Prize of Josef M. Olbrich for quality architectural reconstruction, which were carried out in the Opava region in the years 2012 - 2013. From these submitted proposals, a total of 13 realizations were nominated for the J. M. Olbrich Prize. "We are pleased that even in the past two-year period, projects were completed in the Opava region that can serve as an example for others. The expert jury will evaluate the nominated buildings in the following days." says Tomáš Skalík from the civic association Za Opavu.
The results and evaluations will be published in the form of a press release on April 5, 2014. On Monday, April 7, 2014, at 5 PM, a festive award ceremony will take place at the CELLA Gallery on Matičí Street in Opava, along with the opening of the exhibition of nominated and awarded buildings. The exhibition will last until Sunday, April 13, 2014.
"Also, this year, in addition to the evaluation by the expert jury, a Public Voting Prize will be awarded. You can vote through the poll on our website zaopavu.cz," adds Skalík.
