Lectures take place every first Thursday of the month

The civic association Kruh has been organizing public events and lectures focused on current developments in architecture since 2001. The aim of the lectures and discussions is to facilitate a dialogue about quality Czech and world architecture and architectural creation for a broader audience - i.e., beyond the narrow circle of experts and architecture students. Kruh has already organized more than a hundred lectures by notable and emerging Czech and foreign architects and architectural theorists, two film festivals on architecture, and an exhibition "Profession: Architect." It regularly publishes collections of texts on architecture. The civic association Kruh is also the initiator of Architecture Day, which took place for the first time in October 2011 and had a surprising turnout - approximately 3000 people.
