Prague - The National Gallery in Prague will once again present architectural works entered into the Grand Prix of the Architects' Association. The exhibition will start on Friday, May 12, and will last until mid-June. Visitors will see more than a hundred works that were completed last year, the curator of the exhibition Radomíra Sedláková informed journalists today.

At the exhibition, people can view various types of new buildings - family houses, residential complexes, or corporate buildings, as well as interiors and renovations of different types of structures. These categories represent the largest number of works. Relatively few are represented in the fields of landscape architecture, urban planning, architectural design, and visual arts in architecture.
The Grand Prix is a competitive showcase of architectural works that has been organized by the Architects' Association for 13 years. The competition is open and can be participated in by both Czech and foreign architects, designers, and artists. The condition is that the work must be located in the territory of the Czech Republic. The competition was first held in 1994.
The showcase is held in seven categories, and a professional international jury, which changes every year, evaluates the works. This year, prizes were awarded in three categories, and the results will be officially announced tonight.
