In Litomyšl, an exhibition titled Architect O. Niemeyer and Politician J. Kubitschek is taking place

The exhibition Architect Oscar Niemeyer, Brasília is a collection of 40 photographs of buildings from the city of Brasília by Oscar Niemeyer. The author of the photographs is Slovenian architectural historian and photographer Damjan Prelovšek. The photographs, installed in an originally conceived exhibition, capture all the significant buildings of the one hundred one-year-old, still actively creating giant of world modern architecture. The exhibition was created for the National Gallery in Ljubljana and was also seen at the National Gallery in Prague, the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław, and the Architecture Cabinet of the House of Arts (GVUO) in Ostrava.

The exhibition Juscelino Kubitschek – The Word of a Man presents the creative character of JK and his fearlessness in managing public life, leading to the great development of Brazilian industry and the establishment of the new capital – Brasília. The city was built three years and ten months after the start of construction, in the spirit of JK's motto: "Fifty years of progress in five years." Few statesmen would dare to make such a "word of a man." Very few statesmen would strive so fervently, almost obsessively, to realize their dreams. The exhibition was first presented in the Czech Republic at the Architecture Cabinet of the House of Arts (GVUO) in Ostrava.

The exhibition in Litomyšl is complemented by the accompanying theme Oscar Niemeyer in Czechoslovakia, which focuses on the inspiration and impact of his work in former Czechoslovakia.
