Thermal Pasohlávky offers land for the construction of spas for 380 million

The region had already announced its intention to sell the land in the spring, and interested parties could pick up an information package. "We communicated with four interested parties, including the Chinese company RiseSun," said Martin Itterheim, the chairman of the board, to ČTK. The Chinese initially wanted to collaborate with the region, but they are still interested even after the reevaluation of the regional strategy, which is now direct sale under the given conditions.

The investment in the construction is expected to exceed one billion crowns. Additionally, a treatment facility with a capacity of 160 beds is to be established in Pasohlávky. The location has been rapidly developing in recent years. A giant water park, a hotel, and a large campsite called Merkur by the Novomlýnské reservoirs are being developed in Pasohlávky.

The establishment of a spa has been discussed for many years. Therefore, the region founded Thermal Pasohlávky, which built the necessary infrastructure for the municipality. The land for the spa construction is already connected to utilities, and there is also a bike path constructed, for example.

Previously, the region considered two options: creating a joint venture with the Chinese company RiseSun and subsequently building the spa or selling the land to a potential investor. The regional council sees the sale as an opportunity for immediate enhancement of the land value.
