Poděbrady (Nymbursko) - A new music gazebo will be built in the central spa park in Poděbrady, intended as a permanent stage to contribute to the revitalization of the area around the Libenská Colonnade. The project will cost approximately six to eight million crowns, with work set to begin in the autumn. This was stated by the mayor of Poděbrady, Ladislav Langr (Choice for Poděbrady).

The central park connects the functionalist train station, the spa area, and the historical part of the town. It was established in 1912. In addition to the gazebo, the project will also include other park improvements. "It should be completed by the next spa season," the mayor noted.

The Libenská Colonnade in Poděbrady was built in the 1930s according to the design of architect Vojtěch Kerhart. It is one of more than twenty cultural monuments in the town.
