Landscape Exchange is a new series of public lectures and discussions focused on sharing knowledge about landscapes in the context of architecture, transportation, urban policy, and research. Norma space gallery invites five Swiss experts (architects, designers, and researchers) to Prague to participate in a public dialogue on these topics.

The Zurich studio Antón Landschaft is an interdisciplinary office of collaborating landscape architects, biologists, industrial designers, and urban planners. The studio regularly connects with artists, scientists, architects, and sociologists, thus pushing the professional boundaries of their field. Carola Antón has accepted the invitation to Prague, where she will speak about various approaches to perceiving and planning landscapes.

“Behind each erosion process hides an opportunity to read landscape anew and transform its main characteristics. The history and nature of each place are essential premises of its transformation. Understood as dialogue between aesthetics and ethics, the projects aim to be not ‘only beautiful’ but environmentally sustainable. The interest is not on nature as an image but about landscape spaces in all their dimensions, including society, history as well as natural processes.”

Norma is a platform. It tests space through the coexistence of disciplines, people, and art. Practice conditions our view, while theory sets the stage for critical discussion.
