Semester projects by students of design, architecture, and fine arts studios. Hanging swings and illuminated bulbs in individual studio cubicles. A bar made from spools and snacks from Anna Jeřábková's kitchen. A pallet stage, ssoel, and Holy. After party in the student club Had and Sony.
The studio of Karel Hubáček at the Liberec Faculty of Art and Architecture transformed for one evening into a lively celebration of the traditional student competition Ještěd f kleci. This year's edition was full of surprises.
The four-member jury consisting of architect Pavla Melková from the Prague architectural office MCA, theorist and curator Šárka Svobodová, architect Ladislav Kuba from the Brno studio Kuba & Pilař, and Martin Tůma from Boys Play Nice decided not to select the best student project. They specifically honored the projects 'Two-Year Plan' by Martin Holada, 'Walls of Nymburk' by Kristián Holan, the urban planning solution 'Vein Náchod'by Jakub Kopecký, and the conceptual design 'Oasis Rio de Janeiro' by Alice Mitysková.
The Ještěd f kleci trophy was awarded to Adam Kösslerfrom the studio of Zdeněk Fránek and Dana Raková for his thesis project, which dealt with the accessibility of the buried Church of All Saints in the abandoned village of Radovesice.
From the school studios, the jury decided to highlight two different approaches to teaching. These are Architectural Travelogue from the studio of Jakub Chuchlík and Karolína Jirkalová, and on the other hand, the provocative assignment James Bond's House from the studio of Petr Stolín and Alena Mičeková. The awarded projects will be available on the website www.jestedfkleci.cz
